Trading Terms and Information

INFORMATION

Ticket Sales; ticket are sold subject to Terms and Conditions rules and policies as displayed on the premises. All riders must complete a Membership Application, Release and Indemnity Form before purchasing tickets. Please Note: Kids Zone "kart sessions & amusements" close at 5pm daily.

All Tickets are valid for the date of purchase only and are supplied on a per person basis.

Riders must agree to and accept the rules of the track and the terms of the indemnity form before buying tickets. Tickets are not transferable.

Dress Standards; All riders must wear enclosed protective footwear. Some loan shoes of limited sizes are available at the counter. Long Sleeve protective clothing is recommended.

  • What is a Race Session;

Rookie Karts and amusement ride sessions are 3 minutes (Go Zone)

Formula & Predator kart sessions are 6 minutes. (Monte Carlo Track)

Schumacher kart sessions are 10 minutes in duration. (Le Mans Track)

Ride Programs; The operation of tracks karts and amusements may differ to publicise times due to weather, maintenance schedules, safety inspections or other necessary shutdowns.

Riders, please note that during extremely busy periods some delays will occur.

  • Ride Restrictions; Restrictions such as height, weight and/or physical ability apply to some go-karts and amusements. You accept the risks of taking part in those activities and should make your own assessment of those risks before doing so. You must obey all safety signs.

Minimum height 900mm

  • Health Warning; Because of the extreme forces and excitement created by go-karting and amusements, riders should be in good health and free from any physical limitations or medical conditions, including but not limited to neck weakness, back weakness, recent surgery, broken bones, heart conditions, nervous disorders, motion sickness and epilepsy. Management recommends that pregnant women should not ride the karts and amusements without medical approval.

It is the responsibility of the supervising carer or guardian of anyone of diminished intellectual or physical capacity to notify Kingston Park Raceway in writing of that diminished capacity. For safety reasons, people with diminished capacity will not be permitted to participate in any Kingston Park Raceway Sprint or Enduro race events.

 •Kart racing can be dangerous; It is possible that serious injury may occur as other riders may be of limited skill and ability. All riders must accept the risks associated with racing in mixed groups and must obey all instructions from track marshals.

  • No Glass policy; As a safety precaution, Kingston Park Raceway has a "NO GLASS" policy. When you enter the complex you must hand in to Kingston Park Raceway any glass containers in your possession. Those containers will be returned to you at your request when you exit the complex. Containers which are not collected within seven (7) days will be treated as abandoned and Kingston Park Raceway has the right to dispose of them.

No Dogs policy; Due to Local council bylaws no dogs are to be on site.

  • Code Conduct; All riders must observe the marshals' instructions and behave in a sensible and proper manner whilst on and off the rides. No foul language or abusive behaviour will be tolerated. Offenders will be asked to leave. Management reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs or whose behaviour is considered unacceptable.

Management reserves the right to terminate any driver's karting should it be determined that they are effected by Drugs or Alcohol. No refunds will be given for uncompleted rides.

Lost to property; management does not look after personal belongings and will not accept claims for lost property. Management suggest that patrons use the lockers provided for storing valuables.

Damage to property; due to the physical exertion placed on riders management suggest that you make your own assessment of the forces of the ride and by purchasing a ticket you have accepted the risk of damage to clothing and belongings. NB: No free flowing robes or clothing is permitted on the rides

  • Slip Slop Slap; Slip on a shirt, slop on sun screen, and slap on a hat. This is good advice for all visitors to the park. Management also suggests that you drink lots of water whilst enjoying your day at the raceway.

TRADING TERMS

  • Minimum No. Driver Requirements,

Tag Team events , 60 Drivers Sprint (Minimum 10 drivers for a booking - Minimum 20 Drivers for exclusive use.

Adult Party (Minimum 5 drivers for a booking)

Children's Party (Minimum 5 drivers for a booking).

  • Decreased Driver Numbers; All events are booked for an agreed number of drivers and decreases in that number cannot be accommodated with less with 7 days prior notice. If booked as an exclusive event you will be required to pay for a minimum of 20 drivers.

Indemnity Forms; Drivers are reminded that Go karting can be a dangerous recreational past time and injuries may occur. Please read the indemnity forms carefully before approving the waiver.

  • Drivers personal requirements;

Schumacher karts: Min age 16 years, Min. height is 1600mm. Max Height 1950mm, Max. weight 130kgs

Predator karts: Min age 14 years, Min. height is 1400mm. Max Height 1850mm, Max. weight 130kgs

Formula karts Min age 11 years, Min. height is 1100mm. Max Height 1850mm, Max. weight 90kgs

Indy karts: Duals, Min age 5 years, Rookies Min age 10 years Min. height is 900mm. Max Height 1400mm, Max. weight 55kgs

Amusements; all riders will need to be a minimum of 900mm to ride any ride. Note that some rides required a taller minimum; refer to signs in amusement area for details.

Track Rules

Organisers of events are responsible for the conduct of the invited guests and will ensure that all drivers comply with the track rules as displayed and that they will follow instructions as given by the marshals.

  • Deposits; A 30% deposit is required to secure the event upon confirmation of a date.

Deposits will not be refunded should you cancel within 14 days prior to the event. In such an event the client accepts that all prepayment will be forfeited.

  • Payment in Full; All Sprint Events require full payment 7 days prior to the event.

All Enduros require full payment 21 days prior to the event.

  • Payment Types; We accept Cash, direct deposits, money orders and credit card only. Cheques will not be accepted without prior management approval. A surcharge of 1% applies to all Credit and Debit card transactions and 3% applies on AMEX card sales.

Special Requirements; Specific requirements for your race event including number of drivers, trophies and catering, all need to be finalised, confirmed in writing and all outstanding monies paid as per the event trading terms 7 days prior to the event date.

  • Cancelling or Changing event Dates; Kingston Park will always make every effort to assist you in changing your event dates, but please be advised that we require a minimum of 14 days' notice in order to alter or cancel your booking. Should you choose to cancel without the required notice in writing there will be no refunds of the monies paid. Cancelled or events with changed dates must be run within 6 months of the original booking date.

Loss of Deposits; Any event rescheduled by the client less than 14 days prior to the event, will incur a full loss of the deposit paid.

• In the event of inclement weather; it is at the discretion of Kingston Park Raceway management to continue or abort the race event / party. Drivers will be permitted to continue if the precipitation is light and intermittent but where constant rain falls, a decision to abort the event will be made by Kingston Park Raceway management. If the decision is to halt racing for the day, the event will be rescheduled to a date that is convenient for the client and should the race have already started prior to rain falling and then aborted, the rescheduled event will include only the unfinished portion of your original booking.

  • Refund Policy; If your race is unfortunately cancelled or postponed, drivers will receive a replacement pass for the unused portion of your ticket, the replacement tickets are valid for 6 months from date of your original booking. Ride replacement vouchers may be offered in the case of inclement weather at the discretion of management. Refer to our refund policy as displayed for full details.

Rescheduled events; We will make available alternative datesand work with you to reschedule the event. Due to our busy schedule rescheduled events will not be run during peak times. The event must be completed within 6 months of the original event date. Event deposit will be forfeited after that date.

  • Catering at rain affected events: Once your event has commenced and is unfortunately rescheduled or cancelled by Kingston Park Raceway due to Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances there will be no refund of the catering charges if the caterers have commenced preparation, however all care will be taken to liaise with the caterers prior to the event and in the case that the caterers have not commenced preparation there will be no charge and the catering will be rescheduled to the new event date.

Early Arrival: Please make sure that all drivers arrive at Kingston Park Raceway 45 minutes prior to your event. Late arrivals which impact on the late running of the days racing may result in your event being shortened without refund due to the strict time restraints at the raceway.

Kids Zone; This area closes at 5.00pm daily. Correct trading hours for the Kids Zone are the following: open on weekends, school and public holidays only, from 10.00am to 5.00pm. Other tomes by special arrangement.

Trophies; All trophies pre-engraved with the event date will incur a $15.00 fee for correction to reflect the rescheduled event date.

Acceptance of these terms and conditions by the organiser is an acceptance on behalf of the whole group to adhere to the Terms and conditions and the Rules and policies of Kingston Park Raceway.
